Fair.

Well, fair was on Friday and Saturday. Friday was the western show. I won all my classes. I also got grand in sms and hms. Rolie blew the western pleasure champion class. He was such an asshole, but it's impossible to stay mad at him. Saturday was the english show. I won all my classes, again lol. And we won grand in hus and eq. We had a greatttttt fair. Everyone made it to state! This year is going to be awesome! :D

Speed Pony? Possibly.

I rode Mr. Rowie Bear yesterday. I wasn't in the mood to do serious rail work so I did some speed! Haha and boy, was that a joke! He puts up with everything I do! I love him so damn much. He can seriously turn a barrel though! I want to put together a fun show at the barn sooner or later. Maybe we can show 'em up! :p

Another Fabulous Ride

Rode Mr. Rolie Polie yesterday. Can you say freaking phenominal?! I love him sooo much it's unbelievable. I don't know what I would do without him. <3

Summer Lovin'.

Yesterday was probably one of the funnest days I've had in awhile. I got to the barn around 2ish & quickly got out Rolie. I'm pretty sure he was mad at me since I haven't ridden him since my birthday which was June 13th. Yeah, not a happy camper lol. I got him out and he seemed sooo happy to see me which made me feel awesome lol. It's a sweet feeling how your horse can ALWAYS cheer you up no matter what. Even if you're happy as can be. But anyways, I tacked him all up. I decided to ride him in the bosal, just to switch it up a bit. Me and Chels rode for a good hour or so, maybe longer. Rolie was fabulous to say the least. I love how I can just get on him after a few weeks of no riding & be perfectly comfortable, plus having only a bosal on him lol. If that's not trust, than I don't know what is. We long trotted for a good 15 min. Did some two pointing. He was flying lol. I was going to practice some flying lead changes but there were lessons so I decided not to scare the shit out of them. :p So, we just loped around and did some simple lead changes. He's such an anticipater. I tell him to woah and he already knows what we're going to do. What a dork, a smart one at that lol. After our ride, me and Chels rode up the driveway. And of course Rolie was doing his typical drive-thru routine. Lol he's such a weirdo. But, I suppose that's pretty much it. After I put him away, I got on Rio. He was okay I suppose. He's been better but good for not being ridden in a week or so. Especially for him. He sure doesn't act like no 21 year old horse. More like a 4 or 5 year old lol. But yup, that was my day! It was a lot of fun. Gotta love those summer days! :D

Goosy Poo!

I rode Lucy today. She was AMAZING to say the least. I love that horse to death. I rode her in the Tom Thumb. We worked on one hand. She responded soo good. Her lope was slow, along with her jog. It was a very successful ride. I'm veryyy pleased. :)

Summer is here!

Haven't updated this in a while. Well anyways, summer is finally here. And you know what that means! HORSES HORSES and more HORSES! Woot! We had a show on Sunday, the 13th (my birthday! :D). Rolie was PHENOMINAL. We took a first in colored horse at halter, a second in western type at halter out of 21, and we got RESERVE CHAMPION HALTER HORSE! It was awesome! We also won all of our riding classes, and we had great great great rides! Plus we ended up with Junior High Point. :) It was a really good birthday! I was so happy with him. I will for sure be updating this more now that it's summer.

What a fun weekend!

This weekend was a blast! Horses, horses, and more horses! I wouldn't have it any other way. Did some more flying lead changes today. I think he has it down now. :D Just thought I'd share. :)

So I'm in the process of teaching Rolie flying lead changes. He did a couple today. I had give him momentum though. He was booking it to say the least. I'm SO proud of him! He's so smart. I got Lucy out too and lunged her. And hopped on Meeka bareback lol. But that's it. What a good/productive day. :)

Long time, No blogging.

Well, I haven't posted one of these in a while. Rolie's birthday was on Tuesday. His golden birthday actually. He turned 13. My wittle boy is growing up! Lol. I rode him bareback yesterday, with just a halter on. He's such a good pony. Then I hopped on Lacey, AND Cruizer. :) What a fun horse he is. And today I rode Rolie in the bar bit for about half an hour. Then I took it off and rode him bridleless. I can't believe how much I trust him. He was so good. I TRIED doing a flying lead change but he was like "WHATTT?!" and just booked it lol. What a tard. After I got off, I gave him a bath. He's veryyy clean now and soft. I let him eat grass for like everrr lol. Put him back in the pasture and he DIDN'T roll! :D I was proud. So then I went and got Ms. Goosy out. Free lunged her. Took a million pictures. I got some REALLY good ones :) And then I gave her a bath also. She didn't like it very much but oh well. She has a sore spot on her gaskin/hock area. I'm pretty sure it's because she is urinating on herself and it drys up which then irritates her skin. She has no hair right there either. It's pretty weird. So I gave that a good cleaning. Hopefully it will clear up sometime soon. Anyways...I let her eat grass after and of course she LOVED that. Little fatty. But yeah, that was my day! I had a blast. Plus I got some sun :) It's a win win!

Clinic.

On Sunday we had the English Clinic with Kelly Mahloch. Well, let's just say that I got my workout lol. I can still feel pain in my abs today! At least it's a good pain lol. Rolie was pretty good I suppose. She absolutely loved him, but then again, who the hell doesn't?! :) She made us ride without irons, I pretty much died. I was completely out of breath! That never happens to me, except when I ride Rio. But anyways, she said that Rolie and Cruizer were the two horses that caught her attention from the start. I'm like DUHHHHHHHH! Team Evil FTW! So, the clinic was an overall success. We leave for KENTUCKY tomorrow! I'm so stoked! It's gunna be hella fun. But, I guess that's it. Will update when we come back from the KayyyWhyyy. :)

2/19/2010.

I wasn't sure if I was going to go to the barn or not, but of course I did. The arena was pretty hard so I didn't ride Rolie. So I got on Rio. He was pretty good I suppose, had better rides though. I lunged him before I got on to see if that would help his energy a little bit. It did somewhat lol. He did buck once, but of course I had a huge smile on my face lol. He worked up a lotta sweat so it took a while for him to cool out. But otherwise he was a pretty good boy. Oh, and I worked on some pivots for showmanship on the right hind. I think he gets the idea but he still needs a bit of work.

2/18/2010.

Came home from school, then headed out to the barn. Did chores with Chelsea and then we both got on our ponies. Rolie wasn't ridden in about a week, but he was so good. He wasn't super lazy but he wasn't physco. But then again, when is Rolie ever physco? Lol. Had a really good day at school, and the barn/Rolie just topped off my perfect day. :)

First Post..Saweeet.

So I rode Rowie today, not for long I might add. I really wanted to ride but when I got on I didn't have any motivation whatsoever. Weird, I know. So, I let Kayla ride him. It was quite entertaining. She couldn't get him to jog, took her like 5 minutes to get him into it, he took a few strides, & then started walking again. It was pretty funny. I love my horse lol. But anyways, when she was done I put my saddle on Rio and then rode him. He wasn't that bad, but he's been better, that's for sure. All together, it was a great day. Rolie was in a really good mood today for some odd reason. I thought he'd be hyper as all hell today since he hasn't been ridden in a week or so, but no, he was his lazy self. No suprise there. & of course I spoiled him with a million treats, like usual. He really doesn't like it when the arena gets hard, he's such a pansy. I suppose that's it. Laterrr.
